Debaser Perfume by D.S. & Durga, There’s little doubt couples will argue over who gets the last spritz of Debaser by D.S. & Durga. This summertime fragrance sends signals of rest and relaxation, beginning with fruity top notes of bergamot, pear stem and green leaf. Mid notes include iris and coconut milk, triggering memories of summers by the beach. Those are complemented and tied together with fig. Finishing notes include oak moss, tonka bean and blonde wood, giving the unisex fragrance a strong foundation. The fragrance made its debut in 2015. D.S. & Durga perfumist David Seth Moltz created it. The artist often talks about how his creations are more than just scents, calling them fragrance landscapes. His goal with each perfume is to recreate a perfect reproduction of whatever scent he is emulating. Moltz is also the D.S. half of the Brooklyn, New York-based do-it-yourself perfumery. Durga is Kavi Ahuja Moltz, Moltz’s partner and spouse.
